November Update
over 3 years ago – Tue, Nov 03, 2020 at 08:24:37 PM

Hey everyone, everything is going great thus far! We are through 245 pages of the content and that puts us over halfway through editing and layout! Alex, Dan, and Elise have all done a truly fantastic job on the content and are keeping me focused and on task! I am currently looking at how the ley lines affect crafting and how to make that best work. I think it makes sense in my head but of course, once it's all ready, we will let you all play with it to see if it makes sense.

Below is content that is complete with editing and layout -

  •  4 Dwarven Cities - 39 Pages
  •  4 Dwarf Clans - 20 Pages
  •  Crafting Metals - 11 Pages
  •  Crafting Gemstones - 11 Pages
  •  Crafting Ores - 11 Pages
  •  Crafting Crystals - 11 Pages
  •  Return to Mullodar Dungeon - 33 Pages
  •  Pit of Gnawed Bones Dungeon - 24 Pages
  •  Mesmerizing Ice Vault Dungeon - 20 Pages
  •  Qannesdam - 32 Pages
  •  Skyfall Tradition -  28 Pages
  •  Soils - 3 Pages
  •  Chapter One Introduction - 1 Page
  •  Chapter Two Introduction - 1 Page

That's already a whopping 245 pages of complete content!

The best part about this above content being done is it is more mechanic heavy and needs to be checked carefully. The majority of the content that is left for editing/layout below is more content and lore-based content and will not take as long to complete. We are hoping that editing and layout will be done by the end of November and if all goes well we will have the PDF ready for you all by December. I really want to start getting all of this out around Christmas but I am not sure if that will happen just yet, the team is working diligently on this and we have been crushing the timeline in comparison. Here is what we have left to finish:

  •  Elements - Approximately 41 pages - Currently in Editing
  •  Minerals - Approximately 29 pages
  •  Rocks - Approximately 22 pages
  •  Fossils - Approximately 4 pages
  •  Crafting Tables - Approximately 20 to 30 pages - Currently in Editing/Mechanics Updating
  •  Ley Lines - Approximately 32 pages - Currently in Editing/Mechanics Updating
  •  Mines - Approximately 23 pages
  •  Mine NPC's - Approximately 37 pages
  •  Dwarven Language - Approximately 20 pages
  •  Fantastic Locations - Approximately 22 pages
  •  Earthen Heroes - Approximately 10 pages
  •  Chapter Three Introduction - 1 page
  •  Chapter Four Introduction - 1 page
  •  Book Introduction & Content Pages - Approximately 5 pages
  •  Table of Contents - Approximately 2 pages
  •  Appendix - Final Content Dependent

That means there are approximately 275 pages or so left to go!

It has been a trying year, especially for me! I apologize, some of the delays were the lack of me being around due to the loss of my father. I have had an outpouring of love from the community but when it boils down to it; you are the ones footing the bill and allowing our wonderful artists, editors, graphic designers, writers, and myself to get through 2020. I still hope that 2021 will be better and conventions and alternative sources of income will come into play with physical sales. I am so proud of my team for this book and am excited to see how this book comes together in the end!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Apologies
over 3 years ago – Sun, Sep 06, 2020 at 02:52:35 AM

Hey everyone, I was looking forward to getting the rest of the content out and everything. I know we might appear like we have a huge crew or a lot of personal. That is not the case sadly, I lost my father at the age of 54, on Sunday and was very preoccupied with the funeral. I plan on catching up this Sunday and Monday as much as I can since it is a holiday weekend.

I'm tracking all the messages and concerns and will be hammering them out ASAP. Again I apologize greatly for my absence and will be in touch with messages and comments asap.
